Q: Give us a short introduction to yourself.

I’m Märta Hyding Ghatan, a passionate and curious commercial leader. I have over 10 years of experience in commercial strategy and execution, having held various roles in leading organizations such as PwC and Insurely. I’ve driven innovation and strategic growth throughout my career. Originally from Småland, I now live outside Stockholm and am a mother of two lively boys. I have a profound passion for the mind, body, and soul, constantly on a quest to figure out how to live life to its fullest without overcomplicating things too much.

Q: Tell us more about Waytobill.

Waytobill is a dynamic payment solutions company and the go-to solution for recurring payments. Their mission is to simplify transactions and enhance customer experience through cutting-edge technology and robust security measures. Waytobill caters to a diverse range of clients, including insurance companies and non-profits, offering tailored solutions that meet the specific needs of these businesses.

Q: Why did you take this seat?

I took the seat because I believe in the vision and potential of Waytobill. It’s an absolute pleasure to work with talented individuals like Magnus Bendelin (CEO and Co-founder) and Alejandro Pino (CTO and Co-founder). This role is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the future of digital payments. Joining the board allows me to leverage my expertise in driving strategic initiatives linked to the commercial agenda, foster diverse thinking, and contribute to the company’s growth.

Q: What will be your primary contribution to their boards?

My main focus will be supporting management with the overall commercial strategy and finding creative ways to ensure the market recognizes the enduring commitment and value of Waytobill’s solutions. Additionally, I will integrate insights from the insurance industry to ensure our solutions meet the evolving needs of these clients, where innovative payment solutions can significantly enhance the customer experience and reduce churn.

Q: Name one thing you take with you from the deb. program.

The invaluable network of diverse and experienced professionals I had the opportunity to connect with. The relationships I have built with fellow participants, mentors, and instructors have not only expanded my professional network but also provided me with a wealth of perspectives and insights.

Stay curious and embrace lifelong learning. The business landscape is constantly evolving, and staying ahead requires a commitment to continuous upskilling and reskilling. Never be afraid to challenge the status quo and seek out new perspectives. Solutions to your problems often come from the most unexpected places.
