Success Story: Why Find my factory chose deb. for board recruitment
How do you find the right board member to guide a fast-growing tech company toward sustainable scaling? In this blog post, we speak with Lars André at Find My Factory, an AI-driven sourcing platform, about their journey from start-up to scale-up and how deb. helped them find the perfect board member for the next chapter.
Q: Could you describe Find my factory and the board assignment shortly?
Find My Factory is a tech start-up that has been operational approximately 2,5 years. We provide a SaaS solution focused on Sourcing. It is an AI-driven solution that takes sourcing to a totally new dimension. There are three areas within sourcing that we provide a solution to, Enrich, Source and Engage. Among our customers we can see some of the largest corporations in Sweden. The board assignment is to go from Start-up to scale-up in a profitable way
Q: What challenges were you facing that led you to look for a new board member?
We wanted to expand the board with two more external board members to have an even split between founders/owners and external board members. We are at a tipping point with great growth opportunities and need some fresh but experienced eyes to drive the journey forward
Q: What made you choose deb. for this recruitment process?
We were looking for female candidates, through a friend of mine I got in touch with Emelie Meurk Demerud who is engaged with deb.
Q: What was important for you in the recruitment process?
To find relevant candidates that could bring some solid experience to the board and the company.
Q: How did our network and approach help you find the right candidate?
Based on my specification I got a list of approximately 10 candidates. I selected two for an interview, one of them was Cozette.
Q: What was the main reason for choosing Cozette?
Apart from having an interesting entrepreneurial background we all got inspired by her energy and curiosity.
Q: What would you say to other companies considering working with us for board recruitment?
Worked really well and it seems like you have a solid list of potential candidates.
